Teen Art Contest
How about a summer reading collage, a painting or drawing? Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to enter the Express Yourself Art Contest. Create a piece of art with a reading theme and turn it in at the Main Library, 625 Minnesota Ave., KCK, by June 30. Winners will be revealed during a reception on July 18. Top finishers will have their art (along with a brief biography) displayed in the Main Library’s teen area. (913) 551-3280 for more information, or drop by the teen area on the second floor.
