An exciting update- I just finished recording the audio tour for the F.L. Schlagle Library. Jon McGrath, who works as an education specialist at Schlagle, has spent the past few months researching, writing and refining a really amazing script for the tour. Upon completion, library patrons will be able to check out mp3 players loaded with the tour tracks which will guide them around the library, nature trail, and surrounding grounds. The tour is packed with interesting information about everything from the library’s history to fascinating facts on the variety of flora and fauna found at the lake.
I’m planning on posting a sample of the tour here when it’s finished, hopefully by the end of the month. Then plan on making a visit to our library on the lake to take the tour yourself!
